Chez LNae Design LLC is a small, veteran-owned business located in central Florida. New to the design industry, Chez LNae’s Owner and CEO Lanae Hickman, has one goal in mind…your happiness!

“I’m very big on environment. What’s inside affects what’s outside. Likewise, what’s outside can affect what’s inside and my goal is to help others see that we are entirely in control of those effects. I grew up in a poor neighborhood. “The Projects” to be exact. Outside our apartment door, there were brick walls and hop-scotched chalked sidewalks riddled with broken beer bottles and cigarette butts. It wasn’t very pretty. Maybe the crab apple trees. But inside, my Mom made sure we kept our home immaculate even though we didn’t have expensive things. I can remember once decorating my room with used mylar balloons from various occasions. They were simple things, but they were things that made me happy. I don’t think it was until I was a young adult in the military that I realized we were what society called poor…and when I look back, I don’t remember being poor…I remember being happy.”
